GDD real time LST density

At the request of the Sudbury office of DeBeers Canada Exploration Inc.,
Instrumentation GDD inc. has developed and tested a real time density
measurement of LST heavy liquid using pressure sensors.
In December 2003, the new system was installed in Sudbury DeBeers laboratories.

The LST heavy liquid density could be reduced by adding water or increased by evaporation.
The new system can be adapted to measure different density solutions ranging from 0.5 to 5.0 SG. In the Diamond Exploration Business, the use of LST allows to separate indicator minerals by gravity.
